Expert-Guided Field Trip

Several historical rockfalls on the south side of the Dobratsch mountain have covered large areas of the lower Gailtal with rock masses and thus, over the millennia, created diverse habitats with a unique biodiversity, which we will look into in the first part of this field-trip. In the second part, day trips take us to Friuli in Italy, where we follow marmots, ibex, and griffon vultures in the Giulian Alps. A visit to the nature reserve on Lake Cornino rounds off the day.
